The pharmacy profession is responsible for appropriately using medications, instruments, and services to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes. An essential component of comprehensive healthcare is pharmaceutical care. A pharmacist is a trained professional with the necessary credentials to dispense medications and offer drug information.
