Principal Message

The main goal of pharmaceutical education is to develop pharmacists into critical members of the health care team who are knowledgeable about drug products and their usage. The pharmacy profession is responsible for appropriately using medications, instruments, and services to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes. An essential component of comprehensive healthcare is pharmaceutical care. A pharmacist is a trained professional with the necessary credentials to dispense medications and offer drug information. The pharmacist is the primary resource for support and direction on many common illnesses and medical issues. 
Keeping the pace in view with the requirement of the pharmacy profession in West Bengal, M.R. College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research was established in 2019 by Founder and Chairman Dr. Jahidul Sarkar, under M.R Charitable Trust who is the pioneer in educational institutions of Bira. The institution is associated with MAKAUT and PCI  approved. We have 4 years of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and 2 years of Diploma of Pharmacy (D.Pharm) courses. 
 The teachers at M.R. College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research are well educated and knowledgeable, and they make it easy for students to use the institute's modern labs and other facilities. Our institution supports academics and students by providing resources for hosting and attending conferences and workshops at the national levels. It encourages and provides additional training so students can conduct research outside the required curriculum's scope.
